just out of curiosity. How does a coin get that worn? Does it literally just circulate until it rubs all evidence of a picture off? I would have thought it would have become collectable and taken care of before that happened. Or were coins just not made out of stern stuff back then?

And what would that coin be worth?

Right idea, just the wrong variety. Heads too low and the 1 is much too heavy and in the wrong place. Try this one. Note the 1 above the other 1.
