Maybe acid or may have been subjected to a concentrated heat source. Weight may tell the tell. Thanks, Doug.

Its a Proof coin....Proof that ugly coins are beautiful to.

the reverse is crazy looking...Could it have anything to do with gas bubbles, I see that in there

OK sorry for taking forever.so I weighed it six ifferent times & the lowest weight was 2.5grams & the highest weight was 3.01grams.so what does this mean

Most of it is still there. But the coin is damaged. Not a mint error. So it really doesn't mater for sure what happened with it. But I'm leaning toward an acid dip. It doesn't look dark enough to be torched.
