Added: this is a very nice start to your numismatic photography career. There is a whole section of CCF dedicated to this subject, but overall your pics are very acceptable already. Two small suggestions are that you should consider showing full obv and rev pics and perhaps another close-up of, for example, the date.

It is flat, shelf like, a step down and reducing the ear. If it were a doubled ear lobe, the lobe would be enlarged wider/taller, show contour lines as the ear was rounded, (your coin show the same color of that area. That indicates that it is flat. Thanks for the image, it confirms what it is. But it isn't a doubled earlobe. sorry

I just checked and Variety Vista has none listed as a doubled earlobe. (I didn't remember seeing one but I check all the Roosevelt dime listings)
