I hope this is in the right spot...Anyway, I found a 1957 D Wheat penny and the B on Liberty is filled. Is this an error? Or a grease blob? As always, thank you for your time.

it is caused by the post of the b breaking off - it leaves the bottom filled instead of being normal.
it is a common error on these coins

Looks like a die chip to me. Die chips are common on this coin.

Nevol, it is a broken center post, this took part of the surrounding edge and sunk further into the die, effectively a chip but because the source was the broken post it gets called that, but yes it has formed a chip
