Looks like a normal coin. Some of the dimes aren't struck very well. 1985 comes to mind. We see a lot of them posted here from time to time.

Technically not OC (off center) unless it starts to affect the devices.

Slight off center maybe possible. That said collectors interest rises when devices begin to get cut off on the edge.

Would like to verify is the diameter normal? Also is the edge normal and show full reeds all around? If not something else could be the cause. Thanks, Doug.

It has full reeds all the way around. I ordered a caliper today. It will be delivered on 5/15 so I can measure the diameter.

If the reeds are present, then the coin is the normal diameter, because the reeds are on the collar that controls the size of the diameter.

If reeds are normal indicates collar containment. If diameter has expanded or is out of round a worn or a wide collar maybe the cause. The amount can be subtle. Normal diameter is 17.9 millimeters. Thanks, Doug.
