numismatic student Bedrock of the Community United States 11898 Posts	Posted 05/14/2018 4:46 pm Didn't think I would ever own one of these. This is the 1811 over 0 overdate Classic Head Large Cent. The 1811 large cent is the lowest mintage classic head large cent with a mintage of 218,025. According to Ron Guth, the overdate is at least three times as scarce. PCGS rates it R-6.0 in all grades. Seems to have the correct diagnostic markers but who knows. Picked it up for $106. Thoughts on grade and problems? Thanks! You have some very nice pick-ups IMHO, including this piece. However, this one looks like it has a small area of damage below the wreath on the rev. Or is that a small counterstamp? I can't quite tell.
