Can somebody let me know if this is a true double lobe penny from 1979? I can get better pictures if it's worth it to you all. Thanks

as said in the game Battleship, "Direct HIT, you sunk my Battleship!"

The size of the ear is normal, doubled ears are ALWAYS larger

Ha. Is this actually, or just a battle ship coin? Don't understand your comments.

Thanks

That "Doubled Earlobe" is just a contact mark. It took a hit, causing the metal to get pushed in. Post Strike Damage. Worth face value.

In order for an ear to be a doubled ear, the ear would need to be larger than a normal ear. Your coin is a normal size ear with a contact mark on it.
