My Camera isn't good to use for small coins like dimes.
Also it's nighttime so the lighting isn't that good.

Can't tell for sure from the image, but it might be something on the coin? Usually a missing cladding shows a border. This doesn't look like an error from what I can see.

My pictures are quite bad.
I can't capture the small size of it because it's too tiny.

So after looking it over, it doesn't match my photos.

In hands under a 7X LENS, It looks like a tiny little impact which lifted up the surface and moved it over a little.

***ADDED***
It looks like a little tiny leaf. Because it's a raised surface which clearly stands out under a lens. So it's struck-through something or for some reason that part just came loose?

Pix looks like a chemical drop has caused rapid reaction, a staining and etching of sorts, PSD.

It may be a stain on the coin, or it is very much possible that the cladding was so thin in that area, that the copper core shone through after the strike (similar to split plating).

It looks like PMD to me. Kinda like a tip of a screw driver or a solder iron?

Thanks for the last set of images. They will probably make it to my educational files.

That's weird. It looks like Post Strike Damage to me. Like if something dug at the metal.
