That sure looks like a massive struck-through on the rev to me (can't see as clearly on the obv). If so, that would be a pretty neat find!

Thanks Spence! Yeah, the obverse area of interest is much smaller. The effected area on the obverse is just above Lincoln's head, covering the OD in GOD. I appreciate the reply

Struck through something soft like a rag, bunch of string, it could have even been coated in grease and grit. But it definitely saved space for itself. Nice find.

Thank you. That rules out a planchet flaw. I noticed some fine line "cracks" in the field. One runs from the "E" in ONE to the "M" in UNUM and a few to the west from the "C" in CENT. I wonder whatit was that was struck?

It was Struck Through. Very nice find! That's definitely a keeper.

Some of the lines you are seeing are, struck through thread lines. They're incuse lines. Die cracks are raised. Above the EPU you can see strong die wear. So the die was in the LDS-VLDS die range when your coin was struck.
