That's a D mintmark with Zinc Rot setting in (Post Strike Damage). http://www.error-ref.com/zinc-deter...ncoln-cents/

There were no cents produced in 1986 with the mintmark P. So it must be a D with damage. A zinc gas bubble is the most likely cause.

There was one year that had a P mint mark on the cents.
