As you guys already know, I keep finding these odd balls. All 2000. Maybe they tried a different polish.. New management... Too much grease.. Over worked.. I don't know.

Yup. Similar to the duck lips I posted a few days ago. This one, I think, sheds a little more light on the other as to why it looks the way it does.

I say it is due to die polishing, not a Grease Fill.

It looks like Die Polishing has caused Lincoln's mouth and nose to partially disappear.

Hey guys...if it were die polishing the areas would have INCREASED not decreased! Those edges would have gotten larger, like Die Deterioration making that5 reversed image extend INTO the field, the detail being ENLARGED. It is most certainly a Grease Fill, albeit most likely after a die polishing, but the anomaly is not the direct result of a "polished away edge"!

Sorry Crazyb0, but a Grease Fill would enlarge the devices, not make them thinner. I respectfully don't agree with you.
