I have bought a couple single ATB Quarters in unc with S mint marks.
What denominations does the US mint produce in uncirculated types with S mint marks that are only available from the mint?
Is it just the ATB Quarters or are there others too?
Be quiet about this now . I don't want the mint to get any ideas of making cents, nickels and dimes in unc with S mint marks too that have to be ordered from the mint!
They have made some business strike commemoratives and one-offs (1998-S Kennedy half "matte proof") but I think the ATB series are the only ones that are NIFC business strikes of a circulating series.
IMO, the Mint should randomly seed coins like these into circulation, but not tell anyone. Imagine you're roll hunting and suddenly you find a 2018-W quarter; one of 500 made! That would get some good economic stimulation going!
