Took over 4 years of searching and finally found another one of the 1891 large Leaf Large Date with Repaired N in REGINA.

Good for you JeyRey, its funny how it goes sometimes you search and look and never find what you have targeted then all of a sudden there it is.

Khatt, the one you show is an obverse 3 , the repaired N are only on the obverse 2. Look up any 1891 obv 2 and you will see an almost non existent foot on the N in regina. The repaired can only b found on OBV 2. I first saw the variety in the 2011 charlton catalogue. If you dont have it you should find a used copy as its a good resource for quite a few large cent varieties not listed in the yearly edition.

KHatt ... as JeyRey says, yours is an Obv 3 and ALL Obv 3's have a full-footed N on the serif. It's only the Obv 2's with a R/E foot that is quite scarce. Yours is not any type of variety, just a normal LL/LD Obv 3.

Welcome Sammeli - as to value its really hard to tell as there are not tons of previously listed sales on ebay for this variety and coins and canada does not list it either. I have only see this in 2011 Charlton Coin Catalog and I think the variety is quite a bit harder to find then many other Vicky cent varieties. Maybe someone else could offer guidance on potential values of these coins. I guess until you sell it you never know as it depends on the market and how much someone would pay.

If I have time and remember later I will check my 2011 charlton which might give a little guidance in terms of pricing but as others have mentioned on this coin its rarity might be understated.

I guess I will hang on to it for awhile then. When some come out of the woodwork we will see how much they are worth. I only paid 16 dollars for it

Welcome to the site Sammeli, as to your coin and question as to the value in the 2011 65th edition of Charlton it is listed at $50.00 in VG condition. I'm not sure what people would pay you for it?
I like to trade coins myself way more friendly and each person is helping one another just another thought on how to collect within ones budget.

As your coin is not the greatest grade I would keep it and try for upgrade VG-8 is a hole filler to me but a very hard coin to find so it is a treasure and keeper.
