I was always told to look at all coins that pass through my hands
Any thoughts?

@cm, I'm not seeing any evidence of a thin spot but the partially missing letter L in LIBERTY is just damage, perhaps from rolling machine.

Or just split plating making the zinc, now, to rise. Is there damage on the foot of the "L" on LIBERTY?
