Roman Republic AE As Moneyer Cluvius Saxula 169-158 BC Laureate head of Janus Prow of Galley right, SAX above, ROMA below Crawford 180 (unrecorded variety) First coin: http://www.wildwinds.com/coins/rsc/clovia/t.html As much of the provenance as I can piece together: CNG ( ebay) auction - 6/20/2001 - $86.52 Roma Numismatics e-sale 4, lot 479 (Andrew McCabe collection) - 12/28/2013 (no price - https://www.acsearch.info/search.html?id=1818764) CNG e-auction 420, lot 639 (5/9/2018) https://www.cNGCoins.com/Coin.aspx?CoinID=360074 Sadly, the Roma auction results aren't on their website any longer; I'd love to know whether it went up or down in price between 2001 and 2013... it certainly went down between 2013 and 2018!
