So I know the coneca listing for a 1776D doesn't list anything for 1976D halves outside of the date being doubled but the upper left of the W of WE seems to be split. Any thoughts?

Looks absolutely normal to me. Maybe it took a well placed hit, causing the metal to move and flatten. I don't see a notch on the "W" on "WE".
