Had this coin for some time. Not able to find much info on it. Thought I would see what the community is able to offer. Appreciated!

Thank you very much for the info. It is what I initially thought it was. I just was unable to confirm it of find any information or pictures to back up my thinking though.
Very useful link.

How do you think I should confirm it's authenticity? Once I have confirmed it's authenticity.... where do you suppose I auction it? Doesn't seem like an ebay product...

It's counterfeit.

@ace5135, first welcome to CCF. Second, could you please post the diameter and weight of this piece? That information can help to ascertain whether a coin is a real or a fake. Also, you said that you've had the coin for a while. Can you please provide more details? For example, do you remember where you bought it (coin shop vs. craig's list vs. bazaar)? Do you remember roughly what you paid for it?

Can anyone come up with a KM# for it, be it either fake OR genuine?
Could it be a copy of a novodel, perhaps of Siberia?

Exceedingly rare (effectively a pattern issue), and, at least in Russia, fairly popular.

I'm about 99.7% sure that your example is a copy. They are just that rare.

Cannot be genuine - this is easily a four to five figure coin. It's that rare.

Fonts are slightly too thick and it looks too modern. Biggest mistake is with the monogram.

Here's one that was sold recently with very similar scratch marks.

Even at 10 dollars, that's rich.
