AU53 to 55.

Might be from the Treasury hoard from the 1960's. Rumors were rampant in the late 69's and early 70's that there were a couple of bags of 1859-O and 1860-O dollars that were released along with a boat load of "O" mint Morgan's.

Whether that's true or not about the Seated dollars, or not, I don't know.

Technical Grade - 55. Eye Appeal - 6/10.

Not certain on the surfaces on this one. Some rather stark color differences between protected areas and the halos around them.

This is not one of the ones you've shown that I've loved.

Found a '53 for me yet

This one is au-58 and I believe it deserves every point of it. Some of these 'common dates' are some of the most challenging to find with eye appeal. I would give this one a 7 out of 10.

No, but stay patient, Mox. Confucius say rush to buy Seated dollar leave you with porous buttocks.
