1964 Nickel D Over Inverted D?

So I was looking at this 1964D nickel and was at first just assuming it was PMD but when I looked at it from several angles it looks like more. It appears to be an partially inverted D imprinted with another D. So what do you guys think?

Nope, it's just Post Strike Damage on the mint mark. You can see the pushed in and flattened metal.

@coinadvocate, it is hard to say for sure due to the damage, but I tend to agree with @E&V on this one. I don't see any part of this that I can't explain by metal moved during damage. Maybe there is the tiniest bit of notching on the top serif? Again, hard to tell for sure that it isn't just damage.
