Weight is 2.1 gm's, It looks like it may have been put on a grinder, but I am no expert. Appreciate the help.

Ok well definitely did not leave the mint looking like that. It is a little interesting how the damage is so wholly concentrated on the reverse. Perhaps it spent some time on a rotary sander?
