I found this in a circulated roll from a bank box of U.S. Pennies. I was quite surprised to find this! This is a completely brand new and unlisted DDR. This will being sent to John A. Wexler, so he can get great pictures and list it the next time he updates his site. It's somewhat minor, but it doesn't bother me since I love collecting anything. Distortion can be seen on the EPU. Extra thickness show on AMERICA and designer initials LB. I will show you a normal 2016 P LSC, so you can compare it with the DDR I found.

Here's a closeup shot of the designer initials LB. You can see the extra thickness and it's not the same as WDDR-001.

Good eye! Not many people would notice one like that.

I submitted a similar one to Wexler last year but he said it was too minor to be listed.

Why does the rim look bent in on the left edge of the initials? (last image)

Thank you Tanman! Did you still keep your unlisted DDR? Do you also know where the doubling was? It's a minor one, but I don't think it's too minor to be listed. We'll see, but I hope he will list it.

Coop.

It was because I tilted my camera down unevenly, causing the picture to come out distorted. Sorry about that.

Haha! That's funny Coop! That was a good joke.

Another funny joke is "Hold my beer, I can do this".

Cool find! I've been on the look out for a decent incused DD on the shields. The raised devices are pretty minor but I think the incused doubling is strong enough to def be listed.

Thank you Waynoah83! It was a good find. It will be going to John A. Wexler very soon. I'll update this thread when he gets back to me.

I think I kept them but they not with my other doubled dies. They might be sitting in the bottom of a drawer somewhere.

On doubling on devices like B, R, and other devices, have you noticed how the enclosed devices show altered more on doubled dies. This helps me to realize how affected these devices show that a coin is a doubled die. Sounds like a future project for me to work on.

Thank you Tanman2001, Coop, 11997755, and da Swampster! And yes Coop, I've noticed how altered the devices are on a Doubled Die. That's how I recognize the Doubled Dies on the Lincoln Shield Cents. I have trained my eyes on those Lincoln Shield Cents. Coop, I think it would make a great future project on CCF. I would do it.
