Hang on to it for now. But when you get to the point where you can make side by sides, then make a normal comparison SBS with your coin devices in the center, a large date zinc above it, and a large date copper below your coin. A three way comparison. Full motto, date, Liberty, and reverse design the same. Because die wear maybe the issue. Or coin contact on the tops of the devices. So keep this one safe for further comparison. Your coin is a zinc large date zinc cent. But to make comparisons the exact size of outer boundaries need to be used equally. Images taken must be larger than the outside edges of the devices, then cropped the same on each image. This will show the over view of each device. If it is die wear, or coin wear, or if all are normal or enlarged. But save it as your personal project. The more you study, the better hands on study, you learn. So try this and let us know what you find. Email me for solutions to problems you encounter. You can do this. Normal coins images, PCGS has the largest clear ones to use. But save the coin for a future project.
