Looks like the mint mark was damaged. What would increase the value for a damaged coin?

Welcome to CFF! Your coin is not an error, just Post Strike Damage (happened after it left the U.S. Mint) you can see the pushed and flattened metal. No added premium since it's damage. Damage never adds value, just decreases the value.

This coin looks to be worth about $ 0.15. There is a D/S but the D is more prevalent in that coin.
