Picked up a box from my local bank this morning and opened it once I got home. Noticed the edges of the first roll all looked like new coins.

Turned out the entire box was 1995-P halves. Not what I was hoping for.

I remember getting one probably 10 years ago of the same date. I dumped all of them. I also got one that was a solid date from the mid 80s as well. I think I kept most of them. Should be around here somewhere.

Check the 1995s for a pretty decent die break that stretches from the bottom tip of Kennedy's effigy to the rim. This also occurred on the 1996s .

I wouldn't be too disappointed. One of the big wholesale buyers pays 12$ a roll for them!

I would probably try to sell some of the half-dollars if I were in your situation. I would use craigslist, and ask a small premium per roll. If you opened the rolls already, you might be able to re roll some of the halves and sell them. If they don't sell in 10 days, I would take them off craigslist and just dump them back at the bank. That is just my thought on what to do with the halves.

There must be others out there. Just checked ebay, and they're not selling at all. Hopefully you have some luck finding a buyer.
