I have a 2 Mariengroschen 1667 coin with what looks like a double strike (see photo).
Does this increase or decrease it's value?

Because these were hammered by hand, it is fairly a usual event, so no rarity to increase value. Condition does tho. Being damaged and bent affects it greatly, but population/survival is really what counts. Just how many survive, and then in what condition. Of course a higher grade commands more, but with post Medievals, survival is the key. If this was another type/nation's coin restamped, that may have premiums, this was just hit twice.

I agree with @crazyb0 (third time in as many days), and would add that there could be a premium for a particularly well-struck coin as the opposite is more often the case.

Collectors who seek hand struck coinage are after the nicest examples possible. Bent, scratched, multi-struck, off center, trimmed, poor planchet and other problems make them less desirable.
