United States "union Forever" Civil War Token, Genuine?

Johnathan55 Valued Member United States 128 Posts	Posted 06/15/2018 9:45 pm Of all the tokens I've found mixed in with bags of foreign coins, this is one of my favorites. Hoping it's genuine. It does have some very bad verdigris though. Not to worry, I can fix that! I'm going to go get a Brillo pad and some bleach and give it a good scrubbing. I'll post the results later! ...Hah, sorry, had to say that. I really have no idea how to treat verdigris this bad though, or if it's even possible to do so at this state. (assuming it's genuine.) Built during the American Civil War, she was the first ironclad warship commissioned by the Union Navy. Civil War Token looks legit to me.
