Hmm no I don't think so. It looks to me like the letters I an B have been damaged and all squished together along a line. Maybe damage from a Gumball Machine?

Looks to me like something has removed the I (you can see where it was placed),
flattened the tail of the L and pushed part of the B over.
No matter what happened though, it is PMD.

PS-
A BIE coin has a die chip between the B & E that makes it look
like it says BIE. It has nothing to do with the I in LIBERTY.

It's not a "BIE". It's Post Strike Damage (it happened after it left the U.S. Mint). You can see how the metal got pushed over and flattened.

I can understand why you would ask, but I'm sure you see now how the metal was pushed to the right causing the squished letter look.
