Keep in mind that the 50 States quarters on the obverse dies only has doubled dies on the ear area on the business strike coins. (which is most of them. The reverses have doubled dies on the central areas of the dies. Why because they are made with the single squeeze process. So that central parts of the devices contain the
DDO on the earlobes, and the
DDR only had them in the central areas of the design. So you can stop looking on other areas for doubled dies. Stick to the center part of the design. Save your time. On the Proof strike States quarters there is a very strong proof die on the PA die.

Save your eyes. Look in the centers of the design. Not know what you are looking for. Check out doubleddie.com. That will help you see what to look for on the reverse doubled dies. (it is not what you expect.
Take the time, take a look.)
