Masters have told me that Zinc rot. Most of the 80's Zinc coin happen all the time. No RPM in my opinion

You actually have a double dose of split plating. When the plating splits, the air gets to the planchet and it straight to breakdown. Often by a three step process:
1983-D-LMC-MM-Doubled-Die?-Need-Help.ty!
No premium. Best to spend them as in time, they will completely disappear into a copper colored Wrapper with nothing in it any more.
