beautiful series of French ecus indeed, I like the portraits and the cow from Pau Ducaton Holland 1734 - Delm.1014 provenance: recovered from the VOC shipwreck 't Vliegend Hert  this coin never circulated

t360 what a great series of France Ecus ! from the same VOC shipwreck 't Vliegend Hert here is one more Ducaton, minted in the province of Overijssel in 1733 - reference Delm.1036 again no circulation wear and tear and quite limited seawater effects

Those are some of my favorite designs from the era. I love the detail of the lions and the horse, and a good deal of quality engraving was done for the rider.
