I often see these types cross-listed under Poland due to the geopolitics of the time. This ruler served concurrently as King of Poland (as king Augustus II), and Duke and Elector of Saxony as Friedrich Augustus I. On the obverse of your coin we see the large arms of the Polish-Lithuanian commonwealth (eagle and knight in quarters) superimposed with the arms of Saxony in the center, and his Polish title: FRID AUGUST REX POL. The reverse carries his Saxony title(s), DUX SAX ... ET ELECT.
Early in his reign, he discontinued the minting of coins at the historic Polish royal mints of Krakow and Bydgoszcz, as well as the Lithuanian mint, and began supplying Poland-Lithuania with these coins minted in Leipzig and Dresden.
From a numismatics viewpoint, this coin is listed by Krause as German States SAXONY-ALBERTINE KM-746, by Gumowski as "Saxony-Polish coinage" as Gum.2088. In Numista similar types (same denomination, same reign) are listed in both German States https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces84419.html and in Poland-Lithuania Commonwealth https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces97049.html

This practice (minting coins for use in Poland at mints in Saxony) continued through the next reign (Augustus III 1733-1763), although there was also some activity in the Gdansk (Danzig), Elbing and Torun mints late in his reign.

From the viewpoint of Poland collectors, there is a 50 year period (1703-1752) in which the only coins widely available are these types minted at the Saxony mints (I have a similar type for 9 days from now).
