So rare that billions upon billions were minted, and a good amount of them suffer what is know as circulation. In this circulation.... "things"happen and a coin becomes crud entombed from it's varied journeys... yours is no different that such poor Pix as included here depict nothing more than environmental damages...

Unless you can prove otherwise.

@dm, first welcome to CCF. Second, your pics are so out of focus that I can't tell anything other than the color of this cent and the reverse design showing it was minted between 1959 and 2018. It looks to be environmentally toned, which is not a rare occurance and does not affect the value. Please post in-focus pics so that we can help you.

Most likely it is environmental damage, not rare whatsoever.

To CCF! This is called Environmental Damage from being in the environment, and it's not rare at all. It's Post Strike Damage (it happened after it left the U.S. Mint). Worth face value, because it's damaged.

Except for the reverse date range, which I would go no higher than 1959 through 2008 with Spence.

Natural toning is not considered damage. That's about all my eyes can make out from current images. In focus images may help me tell otherwise. Thanks, Doug.
