Would like some advise on how much they would roughly cost on market. If the degree of rotation affects price, dates or types that are in demand? That sort of stuff. Thankyou

Just like how a high grade common date vs a low grade key date can throw off new collectors on values, Coins with rotated dies have many variables to sort out as well. Just because one coins rotation is larger than another, doesn't mean the rarity and demand of the smaller rotation can't win out. I forget the site, and I am sure someone will post it for you, but it lists a ton of known rotations with rarity, interest, and approx amount known to exist. Certain series will always be in demand as some try to put together mini sets as well. On phone about to sleep so I'm sure this reply is jumbled all over the place and ill try to clarify better if you don't get better advice when I wake up

Most likely this will be about US coins, so any info therein will not apply to Aussie rotations.

Here are some known Aussie Decimal rotations,

$2. 1995 (Unconfirmed)

$1. 1985 MoR, 1996 Parkes, 1999 Older Person, 2001 CoF, 2005 MoR (minor), 2002 Outback, 2006 MoR,

50c. 2010

20c. 1966, 2000 (Unconfirmed), 2001 Sth Aust CoF , 2001 P'pus, 2004 (Unconfirmed), 2006 , 2013 , 2014, 1966,

5c. 1966

2c. 1966, 1968, 1982

1c. 1968 (Unconfirmed)

This info has come from many different sources and some I either have images, or have seen images of.

Others are unconfirmed where the find has been reported but no image was supplied to confirm the find.

In some instances I think the coin was probably placed in the holder slightly askew, making it appear upset.

There may be others that I am not aware of and to be honest values are whatever someone is prepared to pay for them.

Do ebay searches on 'upset' and 'rotated' 'rotation' and you might find some.

The year and denomination would affect price too - 2001 is a common year for upsets and anything else is pretty uncommon.
