Im new to collecting and found this one. It looks as though it is dated 1930 with a large 3. It is not wheat on the reverse so I think it is probably a 1970 d with an error on the date. I have looked all over the place but have not found any errors like this one. Any help or information will be appreciated.

First welcome to CCF. Second, that is just a well-placed hit that has deformed the number 7 and made it look like an elongated number 3. It isn't a mint error.

Just a hit in a questionable location. Although I can understand why you would ask.

Welcome to CCF! That's Post Strike Damage (it happened after it left the U.S. Mint). It took a well placed hit, causing the metal to get pushed over and flattened.

with all of the above, but wanted to add that I would keep that one as a curiosity. It does heavily resemble a large 3.
