This coin has all the markings of being a clip, Blakesley effect on obverse and reverse, etc. The part that doesn't quit look right is the side of the rim. Looks like reeding ? Is it a clip ?

This coin...
Can't wait to see this answer.. I have a cent that looks like the obverse only, except 2-3x as wide, starting 2-3x further toward the center and slices both downward toward the rim so that upon exit is about half-thickness and also at a slight sideways angle like yours..

Thank you E&V. Any idea why the reeding would be there ?

I feel it is the real thing. Why? Note the Close up of 'E' on CENT.

Thank you Coop. I'm thinking straight clip and wondering if what looks like "reeding" is actually the contour that was on the edge of the sheet the planchet was punched from ?

I think it's a clip but so small that there is no Blakesley Effect.

I guess it could be PSD directly across from the clip on the rim of the obverse and reverse.
