This one is different looking - not just the normal straight line die crack. Sorry if the pics aren't so great. It was hard getting some good shots (as most of you know already I am not good with the photos) It's not listed so I'll send it to JC for listing. CC

Wow! That is a nice one! It could be the pictures but it looks like a lamination issue as well. I did not see it listed on COD so you may want to send the pics to JC. I'd be interested to hear what he's has to say! It's definitely a keeper, congratulations

Thanks, it's the best one I have found so far. I think I will ship this one off to JC for attribution and a better look at it (then he can take better pictures). It seems to be a double spike head (not sure how it would classify 2 cracks to the rim but only 1 to the head) With my poor vision and the glare of my lighting I can't get a good enough look at it.

Tootallious: 2016P copper plated no lamination.
CoinCents: Nice one. I cannot see where the second (right) crack connects to the rim. You might also have a RIDB

DrDon - It is really difficult getting a good closeup because of glare so I stuck it in plastic bag so I could alter the light a bit. Here is another one for review. Look to the left of my red line Thanks for looking CC

Very nice find CC, ^5 ! Looks to me like you have a couple of RIDBs too.. Swamp EDIT: Make that a gaggle of RIDCs instead, possibly an RIDB too..

Thank you southsav - I like all those Thumbs Up. Swamp Quote: Make that a gaggle of RIDCs instead, possibly an RIDB too.. Love It - Thanks DrDon - I really can't tell may be just PMD or plating bubbles. Here is another photo of that area. I also edited the other photo and put in the 2 spike head cracks that I see on the coin. @moxking Quote:That's a LIGHTNING strike Perfect! JC will need to take a look at this one in hand to figure it out.

Very nice find and congratulations! That's not your typical "Spiked Head".

You don't need good pictures, red lines or arrows to see this one. Very nice!

Very nice find! I agree with the above that there is at least one RIDB possibly another. That die was def on its last leg. Especially cool for one of the newer shields. I'd love to come across one like that.

Waynoah83, I love seeing that on newer LSC's too! It's pretty cool to see this.
