Cannot be real as Mercury dimes were made a shade under 18 mm in diameter. I agree that it is encased in some sort of bezel. What does the other side look like?

Unlikely that the coin in question has been shrunk this way as in the link they do not reccomend Mercury dimes as suitable candidates for the proccess.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning... -from PCGS website
Enough with posting the coin shrink it really isn't helpful to newbies to send them off looking for Zebras. When you hear hoofbeats first think horses.
999999:1 it's a Jewelry copy not a shrunk coin. Probably silver and made to look nice on a bracelet for a young child or a stickpin or such.
