I looked up the run size and saw that it was on the "more rare" end of the spectrum with 320,000 printed, is that good enough to make it worthwhile to keep even in this condition?

Thanks for the expertise!

Your note might end up being the key for the series, nice find.
Definitely keep it, and hope to find an uncirculated example.

It took me months to find this pair.

Thanks! It was nice to see that it was a relatively low serial number, the low print run was a nice bonus!

Are they still printing 2013 runs?

Also that's incredible that you found two consecutive stars separately!

That's certainly a saver. The $5 is a great denomination as it doesn't "cost" a lot to keep it. Nice find.

The last $50's printed was back in February, and they were 2013's.

$1's, $10's, and $20's are now series 2017. The latest BEP production report is for May 2018, and it shows the BEP is still printing 2013 $5's and $100's.

Personally, I would spend it. S/N is not of any added value, and the condition is too rough to ever command anything over face.
