So I am searching on ebay for errors and whatnot, and I saw this guy post a few coins that are very obviously not errors.. He comes back with some of the most ridiculous claims.. and its absolutely stupid... I cant believe how scammers are... here is what is claimed to be a Cud, and its a piece of glue on a cent. https://www.ebay.com/itm/2638023408...l_noapp=trueI emailed him and this is what he replied back with! Unless there are some very stupid people at heritage auctions.... His response let me know that he truly is a scammer and isn't just ill informed.. heres his response.. "Thanks for sharing. I'll forward it on to the gentleman from an auction site that said otherwise." Shakes head vigorously.. Here is his second post. https://www.ebay.com/itm/2637923582...l_noapp=trueI told him what PMD means and he replies with..... -_- " PMD is post mint damage" Well you said it yourself buddy! But some odd reason you still seem to think its an error... soo yeah.. Third one I told him that this is not a doubled die, that it is infact Machine Doubling, and there are no doubled dies listed for anything from denver within 2011-2018. "Actually there are Denver mints that have DDO errors for 2017. Just not on this one because I cut and pasted this from another ad. I thought I had changed it. Thanks for bringing it to my attention." His response to that is very obvious, he is a scammer.. Lets shut him down!! God! This guy is an idiot! He's definitely a scammer, since he knows what he's doing is wrong. He even knows that these aren't errors, and he's still trying to sell them! We need to remove the junky and dishonest listings. I look at all of the stuff he's selling, and it's all crappy junk coins.  Errers and Varietys.

@Coppergold, there is nothing you can do about people like this. I doubt that the person will ever admit error. You might be better off to just move on when you see stuff like this.

Yeah there is. If enough people report it to be fraudulent, I am sure that they will take it down. But yeah this is rather annoying to see.

E & V- Who did you report them to? I checked our ebay Counterfeit forum and didn't see them listed. If you reported directly to ebay, there is little chance of them being removed. Edit- correct typo Edited by JimmyD

Anyone that buys the second one is an idiot, so not gonna bother.
There is nooooo way I'm getting into reporting MD. It would be a full time job. People have to learn.

Fantastic! All the preaching in the world ain't gonna stop the Bidiots - but I bet learning the hard way produces an instant lesson.! I still say the sellers know exactly what they are trying to pass off - otherwise how do they know how to describe it? And the bidders are their shill bidding friends in hope a real idiot comes into play! |

Haha Mark! Do you remember when I bought that 2017 P LSC with Machine Doubling on it last year? I call it my "mistake" coin. I still have it.  Errers and Varietys.
