It is curious by the ear though, what do you think caused it? Struck through or did it get hit a couple of times there?

What's even funnier is the description for the first one.

"the Golden circle" error. I've been looking for this one for a long time, lol. It prob came out of a cupholder in a car where another coin was sitting on top and someone spilled some coffee on it. At least that's what I'm picturing in my head. The other one looks a little over polished in that area and I think the " Cud" is possibly just a fold over.

The longer the description, the more hype it is. Leave it. But people who make big claims, I like to see what they are missing on their listings. I'm more of an image person. If I see something, I know it. If it has to be explained, then I move on to something better. Leave it in his opinion.

The first coin is incused Machine Doubling. Machine Doubling showed up on 70 percent of the ATB Quarters Coop examined. The 2nd one doesn't look like a Struck Through issue. It looks more like an Over Polished Die issue, since some of the devices are missing. The Quarter aslso has a Rim Cud as well. Not worth 750 dollars. That seller has his head up his @##.
Errers and Varietys.

The first one is just a stained quarter that had something nickel sized on it when it got discolored.

The second one is just the result of an over polished die where the low relief details are polished away.

Dunno. That second coin has free shipping and a best offer option. I do believe it's worthy of a $0.15 offer.
