I found this 1982 P LMC with IN GOD WE TRUST looking like the devises were pushed downward. I have seen a lot of variations of this on 80's cents but nothing quite like this one. Insight please as to how this happens.

This is heavy Die Deterioration, caused by a worn die. That's why the letter are like that. They're mushy. Although, it's not nearly as bad as my example that I posted last month in late June. http://goccf.com/t/322204
