Just added this one to my collection of Encased Cents, didn't have a foreign one, had to jump for this, don't see them very often.

Now, will one of you kind Canucks tell me if this may be some variety and so, which one? I gave up trying to figure those out!

there is a blunt 7, and a pointed 7, can't tell from the photos, but both varieties in the above condition garner the same value. it is like 1$, if you are lucky.

When I saw the title, I was thinking I was going to see a slabbed coin. But you're right, it is encased.

There are three varieties of 1947 cents.
The regular no ML which was for 1947 circulation
and two varieties of 1947 ML (Blunt and Pointed)
which served 1948 until the new dies for 1948 were ready.

The value of all three varieties in circulated condition is the same.
