I like that Larkin medal. Right away I recognized the reverse as a furniture factory. As an antique dealer I handled quite a few oak pieces, I know I have a couple 3 high stackable bookcases in my house with the Larkin paper label still on it. I have had library tables, bedroom furniture and a couple secretary side by side desks.
They made great furniture back in the early 1900's.
Oak was quite popular in that era and most of the furniture I encountered was quarter sawn oak. I found this website and to my surprise, they also had an extensive catalog of other products of the day other than furniture.
