Love the Kamloops medal!
It's so cool!
I've spent a fair bit of time there and was surprised to see trees in the townsite engraving.
I checked for old pics contemporary with the medal and sure enough there were no trees.
It's semi desert there and looks quite desolate in the old pics.
Someone added the trees to an engraving of a photo, but for what purpose?
Very interesting.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

Probably my only other Canadian medal, although I have quite a few tokens:

Looks to me as though the reverse may have been glued to something sometime.
