I'm not sure. I'm not an expert but it looks like it's just a 1oz silver round. I have never seen one that said Las Vegas on it. Sorry I can not help you but I'm sure someone on here can. By the way to CCF!

definitely not a gaming token, they would have the name of the casino and the cash value on it. Most silver gaming tokens are $10. The $1 gaming tokens aren't silver.

Quote: Hopefuly I get the answer soon. It is a generic silver "round" made by a private mint. It's value is normally whatever silver is at unless it looks pretty then you can pay whatever you want for it

From that ebay link above, it states under the Item Description: Quote: A great piece of history for any collection. Really? A generic silver round is a great piece of history? Oh it harkens back to the days when everybody and their brother were producing silver rounds to try and cash in on the silver rush. What exactly is historical about this round?

So I have one of these coins as well, as for their origin or production details it remains a mystery to me and I've been googling for hours! Listings I've found say they are Golden State Mint, which doesn't seem accurate, and though there are several available on ebay no one has mentioned that NICKLE is spelled wrong or that the only GSM coins have Liberty on the front with GSM not G. S. M. On the front, sooo, maybe there's are worth more than we thought? Or I've wanted lots of Google time, lol. Thoughts?
