I recently purchased this 1934 Chinese Junk Silver Dollar from my LCS. I have already guaranteed its authenticity, however, I am unsure what the grade of this coin is. What would you grade this?

MS details corroded you should treat that to halt further corrosion

In my opinion it's not gradable until it's properly conserved. And exactly how did you get its authenticity verified (or is it just guaranteed by the LCS)?

Looks like severe PVC damage. Try a bath in Acetone to see if it can be removed. Then post new photos for grading if you don't mind. Right now it is a "details" coin.

There is merit in thinking PVC damage or maybe some other like prolonged storage in a non-safe manner. But PVC is more of a green slime color like my example. The blue color to me is similar to copper chloride corrosion and the tarnished surface (if silver) could be just be how the coin interacted within its storage environment. That being said, if it were my coin I'd improve its eye appeal but would not third party grade it. If I did remove the contamination, maybe I'd take a closer look and form my own idea of a grade. But I'm a hobbyist or collector having little to no interest in coin grades. Sample of PVC damage:

Looks authentic to me, but I'd confirm weight just to be sure - should be about 26.7g. Without a doubt this coin is suffering from PVC damage... bathe in acetone ASAP. Looks like a nice coin with underlying luster, although somewhat unattractive splotchy toning. I don't understand how anyone can say this is a high vf, low xf coin.... I think llewellin MS details is a good grade. The detail on the coin is excellent. Assuming you get rid of the PVC and there isn't notable damage left behind, this can grade in the AU-MS range (if it grades straight), otherwise AU-UNC details.
