Never seen this before, but then I really haven't looked at that many nickels. What is going on with this one? Thanks

That stretching of the initials was caused by heavy Die Deterioration. The die was in a Very Late Die State when it struck your coin. Just a worn die issue.

You're very welcome and no problem! Nickels are notorious for showing heavy Die Deterioration, by overusing the dies.

I like the icicles flowing to the rim next to the distorted initials. (First time I've seen that)
