It's definitely a Doubled Die Obverse, since I can see extra thickness in the date and in "IGWT".

You should include the date, mintmark, and the denomination in your titles.

You guys have better eyes than me,I see no DDO. When ever possible, remove from whatever holder a coin is in before taking pics. You should be able to get a full coin pic with a USB scope. Put the scope on a book and keep adding books as needed. John1

On mine I can only get cents and Dimes. Nickels are too large.

I'm in agreement with John1. I guess some people will see it & some will not. I'm in the not seeing it camp.

Pennypride you nailed it, you got the big one! Congratulations on one great find. Yours is mid die state and a few dings but it is the 1984 D F'S-101. Don't hold your breath looking for another woohoo great job. Look at the bottom of Abe's bust...the entire length will show a thin line all the way across. Match the reverse die markers also and you will know definitely. Its the good one way to go. I will give you 50 for it :)

Should I get it graded? I'll get it graded by NGC, as it cost $65 to get it graded by PCGS.

I wouldn't the coin is not worth that much. I've never sent anything in to be graded. I figure the value had to be over $100+ if I ever did. They even charge more for attributing a doubled die. PCGS will usually only use FS-###s.
