I think that these are two Ottoman Empire coins but would be rather grateful if someone could confirm if I have identified them correctly.

Possibly a 10 Para 1255 (1859)diameter approx 27mm, weight 5.3g + another that is much more worn. Diameter approx 27mm, weight 7.6g. The date lettering appears very similar i.e. #1633;#1634;#1637;#1637;

The first one does look like as stated: 1255 10 Para

Last EDIT - your 1859 date appears correct

The difference between the op coin and the numista coin is the regnal year. Both coins have the same accession date, 1255 hijri, for Sultan Abdul Mejid. Below the tughra is the regnal year, 19 on the numista coin and 20 on the op coin. Abdul Mejid ascended the throne on 2 July 1839, so the op coin was struck between 2 July 1858 and 1 July 1859. The second is apparently the same 1255 type but the regnal year is worn away.

One minor correction to my previous post. It occurs to me that the Muslim lunar year is roughly 11 days shorter than the Gregorian solar year. According to Wikipedia, Abdul Mejid ascended the throne on 2 July 1839 which is 20 Rabi' al-Thani 1255 by the Hijri calendar. His year 20, then, would have begun 20 Rabi' al-Thani 1274 or 8 December 1857. In 19 "years" there is a difference of some 209 days between Hijri and Gregorian reckoning. Your coin must have been struck between 8 December 1857 and 26 November 1858. Math was never my forte.
