There is something that is needed in order for it to be a RPM. ('B' was an altered mint mark. Actually a enlarged altered version of 'A' on B-D) There can be cases of where en enlarged mint mark is not a RPM. "Oh, there can be such a thing" Your thinking. As we all know, value of an object is often obtained from previous sales of like kind or similar objects. Value is also sometimes market driven. Then there is the value an individual places on an object. I personally place an emphasis on what I value the object to be, within reason and with contributing factors such as the market.
